Wetlands Management

Wetlands play a critical role in the provision of ecosystem services. Not only do wetland ecosystems support a lot of animal and plant life but they are critically important for the survival of humans too, from the mitigation of climate change to the protection of human settlement from floods. We advocate for the protection of wetlands so as to protect our planet and future generation.

Anti-poaching Training

We train Learners, Professionals Hunters & Guides popularly known as Tour Guides and deploy them to various Conservancies, Safaris, National Parks of Zimbabwe and other Park Estates of major importance to the Guide. We also offer refresher programs to graduates and holders of hunting licences and wildlife. We train Tour guides and Rangers as wildlife Soldiers. Waste Management

As waste management involves the regular collection , transportation as well as processing and disposal or recycling and monitoring of different types of waste materials. These services can save businesses communities a considerable amount of money and can also prevent the environment from being harmed. Waste is the major cause of environmental degradation. As Green Vision Trust we believe that waste management is essential and must be tackled from household, streets and industrial. We are supporting youths in recycling programs where broken glass is converted to glass fish ponds for offices and homes decorations which is giving a livelihood to the youths. There are a lot of health issues related to the mismanagement of waste which makes it important to teach and advocate for good waste management. This program however is mainly focusing on organic waste management through the construction of bio gas digesters to produce bio gas which is a clean source of energy and this will involve other issues of climate change since methane is a major greenhouse gas.

Disaster mangement

Natural disasters are unpredictable, they can occur at anytime hence the need to train and educate people about disaster management becomes very paramount. Natural disasters and human induced disasters cause loss of life and other related environmental scars. We embark on programs that build the capacity on disaster rescuing plans in various districts of Zimbabwe. The program will focus most of the attention to flood prone areas such as Muzarabani and other prone areas like Chimanimani.
